From SUZEE-B's desk: The Audition- Chapter 1A

Okay guys, I'm writing a short novel just to get myself busy, though I'm not done but I'll start sharing with you. There could be some typographical error but just bare with me OK, thanks, Enjoy Tue story below.....


"Beep, beep, beep........" It was the sound of the alarm clock, beeping out loud on a side table attached to a bed. But I doesn't seem to get any attention from its setter for she was still in bed, asleep.

Finally, she's up, stretching and yawing out loud like a hungry lion. "oh gosh!,what a night, I ain't clubbing never again in my life, all thanks to you Racheal, felt like I went to bed 20mins ago" she said in her bedroom voice. For the next 20min, she laid, rolling on her bed and then she sat up and leaned her back to the wall. She turns her head left, right, up, down, inspecting her room before she turned to look at her alarm clock when suddenly, she spread her eyes so wide, looking very shocked. "What the... oh my gosh its Saturday, my audition!!!", she immediately jumped out of bed. " What happened to the alarm clock" she said as she lifted it up, "I thought I set the alarm for 8:00am, well its 10:30" she. said yelling at the clock. "Gosh, I've got less than an hour to prepare".

Taking off her clothes, she grabs her towel and hurried to the bathroom. She turned the shower on and to her greatest surprise, she got no response from the shower, it seems someone forgot to pay her water bills." oh great, can't believe this is happening right now, thought my bills were suppose to expire next week", and without wasting much of her time, she took a bucket to fetch some water from her storage drum,though looking very unwilling to take her bathe manually, what could she do?, she was choice less at that point.
In less than 10min, she was done, all washed up and feeling fresh. She went straight to her room, toweled the whole of her body and lotioned. She went to her wardrobe to get dress but she noticed her clothe of choice was out of form and needed a little ironing. She heads for the parlour, placed her clothe on the ironing board and was about to plug in the iron cable when the power ceased. "you've gat to be kidding me, first the alarm didn't beep me, then the water stopped running and now the power didn't just ceased, it ceased when I was just about to press". As angry as she was,she unplugged the iron,grabbed her clothes and heads for her room and flatteringly she said" only God knows what's going to happen next..." and immediately she slumped and almost fell. She paused for a while for some few seconds without moving an inch or saying anything before she finally broke the silence, "O.K.A..Y.., is it just me or what, Today's is kinda strange to me like
I'm in an error committing land".
She enters her room to find something else to wear,got dressed and had her makeup done, all under 20mins. She then turned to look at the clock, exactly 11:05am. She sighed,looking so impressed about her achievements just under 35mins. On a normal day, it will take her 20mins to shower, an hour or more to get dressed and make up but she had no much time to waste at all.
She went to her drawers to pick up a file which contained her audition form in it, being gentle and careful,she removed the form and placed it in her bag and headed for the main door to her house. Soon, she was out on the street to get a bus for her to start her short journey to her audition centre.
