Fuel Scarcity vs Students Of Unilorin

Fuel scarcity is one of the main crisis we face in the country presently resulting to a lot of stress and time lost. From standing for hours to get a cab or bus to getting late for lectures or work but I trust my fellow Unilorin students who can use any means of transport to get to school or leave the school after lectures. The means could be through a cab, bus and the popular tricycle generally known as "keke maruwa", which of course they would have to pay in #DoublePrices but for those who can't afford to pay double or who can afford but prefer to economize or can't wait to get home (e.g me!) would rather " Tanke sir" (free ride by private car owners)or trek to the school gate (guys most especially)which is approximately #TooFarToTrek kilometers away from the campus. Students also rush to get into a bus or cab and this can lead to shoe loss, torn clothes or even exchange of inappropriate words.
I've been a victim of following a truck home (it was an unpleasant but very funny experience) but that was last session, just see some other truck victims in the photos below......

My question now is what have or can the school authorities do to help the students?  God help us. #BetterByFarUniversity....
