From SUZEE-B's Desk-The Crush Chapter 2A

Today i begin the second chapter of my story, so read on and enjoy....


Its been 6days since Mya was meant to audition, of which she was unable to. She has been so into her cathering work lately, trying to get over the fact that she could not be able to pursue her dreams through a singing competition. She has given up all hope and decided to put music behind her.

There in her tiny kitchen, trying to make herself some toast bread for breakfast. Although she was almost done, all that was left was for her to make her coffee. Shee stood, leaning her back on the wall, waiting for the water to heat up when her cell phone suddenly rang. She quickly strolled over to pick it up, she sighed, reacting to the name of the caller displayed on her phone screen, it was Racheal calling. She waited for a while when the call almost hanged up before she picked up... "Hello chelly babe, how are you" Mya said, smiling over the phone.."I'm fine jor, it's been long since i heard from you, how are you?" Racheal asked Mya. "i've been a good girl, trying and working so hard to survive and trying to get over my unsucessful audition, you did't even call to ask how my audition went" Mya said, feeling a little bit upset. "i'm so sorry Mya, ive just been so busy with work, you know my boss too well, he doesn't allow me to get off his sight for a second, i actually saw your update online and decided to call you, so sorry about that, i'll make it up to you my dear friend, just make a wish now but dont ask for a car ok" Racheal said asMya giggled over the phone. "Ok Racheal, i want you to come see me at my house now, thats my wish" Mya said as she moved over to turn off her burning gas. "Oh Mya, so you dont want me to rest at all abi, the only day i choose to rest at home, is the perfect time to invite me over to your house Mya" Racheal said, indirectly giving a negative answer. "I'm making pizza later today" Mya lied, "Oh really, that's lovely, i'll be there in an hour time, I'll come with some drinks for us, call you when about to leave, chal" Racheal said in a hurry as she hangs up. Mya laughed at the prank she pulled to bring Racheal over to her place. She grabs a tea cup from her cupboard and made herself some coffee to to take with her toast bread. She moves to her sitting room, turned TV on and enjoyed her breakfast, with much pleasure.


There was a knock on th door, Mya who at that time has just finished taking her shower. She grabs her towel and walked to the main and without even asking who it was, she opened the door, it was Racheal, standing with a nylon bag in her hand  and smiling at Mya who was also smiling back. "See this my friend oh, won't you come and hug me" Racheal said as she opens her hands wide for Mya to hug her. Mya moved closer to hug her and the both went inside her house. "You're just taking your bathe since when i called you, what have you been doing? Racheal said as she dropped the nylon bag she was holding on the center table. I've been on the radio oh, don't mind me" Mya said as she searched through the nylon bag and brought out the drinks in it. Racheal heads for the kitchen as she asked Mya for the pizza she said she was going to make but she paused after she didnt get a response from Mya, she turns around and looked at Mya who at that point was looking guilty. "You didn't plan to make any pizza today, did you?" Racheal asked as she moved towards Mya who was also moving backwards away from Racheal, she noticed Racheal was going for a chase and she ran into her room and Racheal chased after her. "I'm sorry Racheal, i had to say something to make you come" she stopped and allowed Racheal to grab her hand. "Now you've caught me, what would you do?" Mya said panting loudly, "Well one thing i know i can do is get the drinks i brought and go back home" Racheal said as she heads for the center table. "Sorry now, I'll make meat pie for us, i already made the fillings yesterday"Mya said as Racheal agreed and sat on the couch. Mya quickly went to the room to put on a simple dress and went to the kitchen to make some meat pie. In no time the pie was in the oven, she moves to the sitting room to pick up the drinks to store in the fridge to chill before the pie was ready. When she was done, she went over to sit with Racheal and they chatted. "So Mya, any gist, any lucky man? Racheal asked as she adjust to a more comfortable position, wating for a positive respons from Mya. "See this girl,what lucky man? i only have a crush and don't ask me to tell me about him" Mya said as she blushed and hoping Racheal will ask for more details."Seee this Mya oh, fill me in jor" Racheal said as Mya began " Ok, he is......


Mya has a crush finally, who could it be? One thing i do know is that its certainly not Mike. Find out who the lucky guy is tommorrow. Stay tuned..
