Today's Kitchen; How to make African Salad With Moringa leaves

Hello guys, welcome to today's kitchen. So yesterday i shared some health benefits from Moringa and I promised to give a recipe on how you can consume the nutritional leave in the African way. So this recipe is mostly known by northerners (don't mind me, I'm actually from the northern part of Nigeria) but you can easily make yours wherever you are cu's all you will really need is the fresh Moringa (Zogele) leaf. So seat back, relax and read below..

Ingredients
 1. Fresh Moringa leaves
 2. Kuli kuli

3. Fresh tomatoes

4. Fresh pepper

5. Onions

6. Salt and seasoning to taste

7. Cooking pot and water

 Directions
 1. Pick and separate the left from the stalk

2. Wash the leaves and place them in the cooking pot then add some water to it

3. Put the leaves on fire and allow to boil for 15-30 minutes

4. Turn off fire and drain the water from the cooked leaves

5. Allow to cool off for a while, then use your clean hands to squeeze out the remaining water from the leaves

6. Place the squeezed leaves in a bowl and free them from each other cu's you wouldn't want to make them in big squeezed bulbs.

7. Wash your fresh pepper, tomatoes and onions and slice them to your preferred choice

8. Add them to the boiled Moringa leaves and mix

9. For the kuli kuli, use a mortar and pestle to pound the kuli kuli into powder or you could buy the one that has already been grinded from the market if available.

10. Now mix the powdered kuli kuli into the Moringa leaves and stir well

11. Add the salt and seasoning to taste

12. If you notice the mixture is too dry add just a little bit of water and mix thoroughly

 13. Serve immediately or better still, refrigerate for 30mins and serve

14. Enjoy your Moringa leave and benefit lots of nutrition from it.
