Herdsmen, farmers clash over destruction of farmland

Fulani herdsmen and farmers have clashed following alleged destruction of farmlands by herdsmen
Eyewitness say the clash started after herdsmen first launched an attack on the farmers with cutlasses injuring a farmer

The clash was brought under control after soldiers, navy and policemen, rushed to the scene and rescued the herdsmen from the youths of the community.

A source, reports that the attack came after the herdsmen at about 10am on Tuesday, January 17, invaded a farm with their cattle and destroyed a large farmland which resulted in a clash between them and some farmers.
According to accounts by eyewitness, the herdsmen first launched an attack against the farmers with cutlasses and injured one Dubem Ononuju.
This led the farmers to launch a reprisal attack and they injured three herdsmen.
The incident was however brought under control after soldiers, navy and policemen, rushed to the scene and rescued the herdsmen from the youths of the community and took the injured to a nearby hospital.
The police area commander for Onitsha, Yahaya Abubakar, who confirmed the incident said some arrests were made.
In related news, two herdsmen are presently cooling their heels in detention in Ekiti state for violating the Prohibition of Cattle and Other Ruminants Grazing Law of the state.
The two herdsmen identified as Momodu Rebo (19) and Isiaka Idris (22) were remanded in prison custody by an Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrate's Court for destroying a farmland at Apoto Farm Settlement in Eporo, Emure Local Government Area.

A Politician and a bishop's wife embarrassed themselves after they were allegedly caught in the act in Kakamega County, Kenya.

According to Edaily, a Member of County Assembly (MCA) and the wife were enjoying each other in a bush around 1:00 am on January 17, 2017.
Even though their names were withheld, reports state that the two were at a funeral and aroused suspicions when they disappeared into a bush together.

The MCA denied the allegation claiming that his enemies are after ruining his name.
"The propaganda has ruined my reputation, and it hurts me," Said the MCA."They claim they busted me with the said woman, whereas I was at my home Monday night by 10:00 pm, actually asleep beside my wife. I have investigated and established that the allegations were started by my political enemies who are out to ruin my reputation. I cannot sleep with someone's wife. I will take legal action against the perpetrators of the malicious rumours."

Today's Kitchen; How to make fried noodles

Tired of cooking your noodle the same way all the time? Today's Kitchen will introduce another method you can use in cooking your noodle. Its easy, fast and very tasty.

Ingredients
2 Noodles (indomie, golden penny etc)
One large fresh tomato
Onions
Fresh Pepper
One large carrot
Green peas
Tablespoon of vegetable oil
Seasoning ( you can simply use the noodle seasoning)

Directions
1. Boil your noodles for 3min and sieve
2. Wash your green peas and carrot, tomato, pepper, onions and dice, separating your carrot and green peas from the others.
3. Place your clean pot on the stove, and add a tablespoon of vegetable oil, make sure your heat is low.
4. Pour the carrot and green peas and stir fry for few seconds then add the tomatoes, onions and pepper and seasoning to taste.
5.Now turn in your noodles and stir thoroughly

And that's it, you can serve with suya, beef or chicken and you can also step it down with a soft drink, coke to be precised.... Enjoy!!!!!
