How to make local African salad
Ever heard of local African salad? Well this is not new to people who come for the northern part of Nigeria. The north is known to have just a few variety of food but when it comes to junks and street food, they top it all. One of those street food is the local salad made with green vegetables such as lettuce, spinach, cabbage, moringa leave etc but my favorite is the one made with lettuce and I'll show you how it's done but before I do that, let me give you the list of ingredients you would be needing
1. Lettuce (or any green vegetable of your choice)
2. Tomatoes(fresh)
3. Scotch bonnet/pepper (optional)
4. Onions
5. Seasoning cubes
6. Sugar or salt (salt for diabetic patients but I use sugar)
7. Grounded kuli kuli
Procedure
1. Wash and chop all vegetables (greens, onions and tomatoes) pound or grate pepper along side if required.
2. Layer all ingredients in a bowl and mix with seasoning, sugar or salt and finally the main ingredient kuli kuli
And there you have it, you can refrigerated or serve immediately... Enjoy ☺️
